Program Introduction

1 Lesson

The future of your business is shaped by the people you hire.

This introduction shows you the complete Scientific Hiring process for attracting the right people, uncovering meaningful evidence, and making informed hiring decisions.

You’ll see how a documented hiring system replaces guesswork with a clear, repeatable way to hire.

Why it matters: A consistent process leads to more consistent hiring decisions, which helps you build the team your business needs to grow.

Chapter 1: The Candidate Blueprint

3 Lessons

Before you interview anyone, you need to know what you’re looking for.

This chapter shows you how to define the skills, talents, competencies, experience, and personal attributes the role requires and turn them into a job scorecard.

The scorecard becomes your blueprint for the person you need and gives you a simple way to measure every candidate against the same standard.

Why it matters: Without a clear target, you risk hiring the wrong person because it’s easy to choose the candidate who impresses you most instead of the one who best fits the role.

Chapter 2: Attract the Right Candidates

2 Lessons

Most job posts tell applicants what the company wants.

But a job proposition shows the right candidates why your opportunity should matter to them.

This chapter shows you how to write a job proposition that attracts people who fit your company, believe in where you’re going, and genuinely want the opportunity you’re offering.

Just as important, it helps the wrong people self-disqualify before they ever enter your hiring process.

Why it matters: A strong job proposition does much of the filtering for you, so you spend less time sorting through the wrong candidates and more time talking with people you might want to hire.

Chapter 3: Find Out Who's Worth Your Time

4 Lessons

Not every good resume deserves an interview.

Before you spend an hour with a candidate, find out if they’re worth it.

This chapter shows you how to screen for fit, build early rapport with strong candidates, and use short virtual interviews to decide who moves forward.

Why it matters: Your time is too valuable to spend on people you’re not going to hire. A strong screening process moves the right candidates forward and lets the rest go early.

Chapter 4: Get Beyond Rehearsed Answers

8 Lessons

A good interview isn’t about having a pleasant conversation or asking arbitrary questions.

It’s a process of discovery.

This chapter shows you how to ask better questions, uncover meaningful information, and determine who is most likely to succeed in the role.

You’ll also learn how to build rapport and sell the opportunity, so the right candidates are attracted to your culture, mission, and people.

Why it matters: A good interview improves both sides of the decision: it helps you avoid hiring the wrong person and increases the chances that the right candidate chooses you.

Chapter 5: Make the Right Hiring Decision

3 Lessons

Before you make an offer, you want to have more than a good feeling about a candidate.

This chapter shows you how to put candidates through a real-world audition, verify what you’ve learned through reference checks, and make a final hiring decision with confidence.

After this lesson, you'll know how to strategically extend an offer to your top candidate that they enthusiastically accept without negotiation.

Why it matters: The closer you get to a hiring decision, the more expensive a mistake becomes. These final steps help you reduce the risk before the person ever makes it on your payroll.

Chapter 6: Never Start Hiring from Scratch

1 Lesson

The best time to find great people is before you need to hire them.

This chapter shows you how to build relationships with talented people over time and create your own pipeline of candidates you already know and may want to hire when the right opportunity comes along.

Instead of posting a job, calling a recruiter, and hoping the right person appears, you begin your next search with people already on your radar.

Why it matters: Hiring under pressure limits your options, increases the chance of a bad decision, and can force you to pay thousands in recruiter fees just to find candidates. A strong pipeline gives you better choices before you urgently need them.

Conclusion — Put the System to Work

1 Lesson

You now have a complete process for installing a documented hiring system in your business.

One that allows you to make informed hiring decisions, so the right people get hired.

In this final lesson, I’ll show you how to put the pieces together, use the system on your next hire, and continue improving it each time you use it.

Why it matters: One great hire can make a meaningful difference in your business. A repeatable hiring process gives you a way to make consistent, informed decisions every time you hire.

Meet your instructor

Don Georgevich

Hi — I’m Don Georgevich.

For years, I thought hiring was mostly instinct. You interview someone, you like them, you think they’ll do a good job, and you hire them hoping it works out.

That’s how I learned, and it’s how a lot of people learn.

I call it the tribal method of hiring. One person teaches the next person what they were taught, even though nobody was ever really taught how to hire.

Over time, I learned that most hiring mistakes don’t begin with choosing the wrong person. They begin with the process used to make the decision.

So, I stopped relying on gut instinct and built a documented, repeatable process for defining who we needed, gathering meaningful evidence, and making informed hiring decisions.

That process became the Scientific Hiring Academy.

My goal is to give you a hiring system you can use every time you hire, so you have a clear process for deciding who belongs on your team and who doesn’t.

Notes from small business owners

“Our biggest problem wasn’t finding applicants. It was knowing which ones to hire. Creating a process to compare everyone against the same standard made it a lot easier to hire the people we needed.”

—L.J.Drop

“I don’t have an HR department, and we hated reinventing our hiring process every time we need to add someone. This was the missing piece to the puzzle.”

D. Martinez

“We've hired people who interviewed well but couldn't do the job once they started. But knowing how to dig deeper in the interview to validate someone was very helpful.”

—Z. Liu

“We have 5 small offices that each do their own hiring. And each manager has their own hiring method. We needed to standardize on a single way to hire people, and this taught us a process everyone agreed on.”

—M. Carpa

The Difference One Great Hire Can Make

One bad hiring decision costs you time, productivity, money, and eventually the cost of replacing them.

A great hire does the opposite.

Research from McKinsey & Company shows great employees can be up to 400% more productive than average ones.

You don’t need a big HR department to find these people; you just need a hiring system you can trust.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t hire that often. Is this still worth it?

Yes — because the cost of getting it wrong even once is huge. This isn’t something you use every day; it’s something you lean on every time the stakes are high. The framework doesn’t expire.

Do I need an HR background to use this?

No. I built this for owners and managers who wear a lot of hats. The language is simple, the tools are straightforward, and you’ll always know what to do next.

Will this work for my industry?

The framework is built around how people think, behave, and perform, not one specific industry. Owners, entrepreneurs, startups, and even government agencies use it for operations, admin, marketing, sales, tech, and more. The steps stay the same; the details are easy to adapt. Even a hospital would get tremendous value from this course.

How long will it take me to go through everything?

The core material is about 4.5 hours broken into 23 short lessons.  Most people watch one chapter at a time and then use the tools on a live interview. You don’t have to binge it; in fact, I wouldn't do that. You want to take it slow and implement one thing at a time in your hiring process. Too much, too fast might not work well unless you have no hiring procedures or standards at all.  Think of it as a playbook you keep coming back to.

Do I have access to my program forever?

Yes, you have lifetime access to all training modules.

How will I view the training?

After you register, you will receive access to your members area where you can watch all the modules on any internet connected device, PC, MAC, tablet, or phone.

I have questions.  Can I talk to someone before I order?

Yes.  You can email, call or message Don Georgevich:  His email is: don@scientifichiring.org.  His mobile is: 440-655-1725.

Can I pay with an ACH bank draft or purchase order?
